Pitbulls are KILLERS! Lets kill them.
I'm sorry, but I'm going to voice my opinion here. Anyone who thinks that a whole breed of dogs is bad, because of a few attacks, or what have you, are fucking morons. If you've been attacked, or know someone who has been attacked by one of these dogs, then I'm sorry, but ya know what, these dogs are not BORN "bad" or "vicious". If a pitbull, or ANY dog, for that matter, becomes vicious or attacks a human, it is the idiocy of man that is to blame. It's bad ownership by stupid people who don't know how to properly train a dog, or who take out their problems and stress by mistreating their dog, that cause the problems. It is PEOPLE LIKE THAT who should be punished, NOT the damn DOGS!!! Well, that's my opinion, and if you don't like it...get over it. If you agree with me, then PASS THIS ON!!!

This is about California legislation passing a law to exterminate pit bulls. If it passes in California, it could just as easily pass in other states nation wide . Someone has to try to make a difference... what if it were your pet?
This really has to be stopped... and you could help to save these dogs.
Now back to my opinions on this matter. The last two pictures shown were my dog... Hence the less than polite message on them. I don't beleive that any dog, (or creature for that matter) should be punished for what they do. Most of the time, it is some idiotic human at fault. With vicious dogs, it's usually horrible owners that make them mean with bad upbringing, and malicious treatment. And in cases of wild animals (dogs and cats included) it's usually a case of fear that brings on the attack. Again, not the animals fault. More the people that put themselves in the situation.
... And I state this openly. If this law passes in my state, the person who comes to my door with the intent to kill my dog had better come with backup. Because I would, without hesitation kill anybody that would do harm to my family.

The whole California this has done and passed, unfortunately.
I had to deal with this in my own town this year. Luckily we had a group of good people working together to stop it. We spent hours at those meetings, and dealing with the crooked politicians who proposed the law. When it came down for the final hearing there were only 2 people out of 75 who spoke in favor of the ban... and they all sounded like ill-composed idiots compared to us who spoke intelligently with facts and hard evidence. It was fun to watch the nasty Alderman's face when the mayor rejected the proposed law on the spot.
You say unfortunately to the California thing... D'zat mean it passed.

On the other hand, I'm seriously glad to hear your town beat it out. I would like to think that in our state, most of the cities would rule the same way... but you never know. Lately, we've been having just as big a fight with assholes that FIGHT the dogs.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure the Cali thing passed a years or 2 ago. Last I heard, Chako.org was raising money to bring the issue up in court to appeal the decision. You can go to Chako.org to see about BSL in other areas as well, but I believe their main focus is California I think, as they are a California based organization.
It doesn't suprise me to hear that you have a fighting problem, its a huge problem virutally everywhere on the mainland. It can be especially bad in rural areas and so I'd imagine Alaska's gotta be hot with it. You just don't hear about it too often because it's not happening in the lower 48, yannow?
It's very sad that people are too ignorant and stupid to LEARN about the breed. In statistics, BEAGLES have been known to be more people aggressive then pittbulls. Anydog thats been abused or neglected, pittbull or not, can attack. Any animals for that matter. I really fucking hate people sometimes -_- idiots...
Ya know....PitBulls don't even make it in the top 50 of most aggressive dogs....Labs are in the top 5. It's sad really. I know many people, including myself, who are totally agaisnt this bullshit law (haha, BSL...Oh, I crack myself up XD). But really....People who wanna ban Pitbull needs to be killed. I think this whole damn law is one reason why I wanna get a Pit. =3 Thankfully....There's not banned where I live. I know a few cities they are. But if it ever comes the time where they're gonna....I'll stand up for them. ^_^
This is crap. Cal and I were talking about Pitbulls some nights ago. Its not the animals fault. I agree that the people should be punished, not the dog. I have a whimpy breed of a dog. ^_^; Still even he can go nuts if we pick at him. Hes already bitten me four times because I forced him. XD
Anyway, Im against this. Save the dog and punish the stupid human owner! x_x |
